Curriculum

The aim of the school is to provide a sound and comprehensive education for all pupils. The subjects taught will include English, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Computing, Modern Languages, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education and PHSE.

For the first two years, pupils will follow and broad, balanced course of study. At the end of Year 8, following advice from the staff and discussions with parents, pupils will have an element of choice when deciding what subjects to study in Years 9, 10 & 11.

The curriculum at Thames Park will replicate St Clere’s School with some important additions built in to meet the needs of each new cohort. The strategies and experience developed in making St Clere’s Secondary School so popular and successful will be used to plan strategically for pupils at Thames Park Secondary School. Skilled senior leaders and subject leaders will work co-operatively across the two schools to ensure high standards are maintained.
