Year 7 Silva were responsible for today's assembly. The topic was Ramadan. The assembly started with a video explaining what Ramadan is and why they celebrate it. They then went on explain how during the period of Ramadan observer’s will fast from sunrise to sunset. They included a description of what it means to fast and why this is done. They then went on to talk about the 5 prayers that are carried out during the day. They then finished off with quiz to check the understanding of the rest of the year group.
