About the School
Thames Park School will be a free school for the Grays area. There is a growing need for secondary school places across Thurrock and Thames Park will serve the community need for additional high class education. Being part of the Osborne Co-operative Trust means the core values of democracy and equality will underpin the school’s ethos.
Children will be provided with an environment and opportunities to develop personal qualities of responsibility and self-help as well as their academic learning.
As a sister school to St Clere’s secondary school, Thames Park will follow a clear curriculum model which will ensure the core curriculum of Science, English & Maths are taught well. Pupils will have access to all mandatory studies as well as choosing specific subjects of choice as the reach GCSE.
Cultural awareness and moral guidance will be a high priority not only in lessons but in the wider aspects of the school as it grows.
